Research On TCP/IP Network And ICN Network Convergence

With the rapid development of the Internet,the existing Internet bas-ed on TCP/IP will face many problems in the face of the increasing traffic demand in the future.Therefore,research on the future network architecture has been fully launched,and Information Centric Networking(ICN)is currently the most representative architecture.In the process of evolving from the existing network architecture to the future network architecture,there will be two network coexistence situations.Therefore,it is necessary to research the converged deployment of the two network systems.The content of this paper mainly includes three aspects.First,an architecture scheme for converged deployment of TCP/IP network and ICN network is proposed.This is an HTTP/NDN convergence scheme deployed by a border gateway.In this network architecture,the backbone network deploys the existing TCP/IP network,and the edge network deploys the ICN network,and then accesses the backbone network through the respective border gateways.This solution can fully utilize the inherent advantages of the ICN network in terms of caching and multicasting in the edge network,reduce the network egress bandwidth,reduce the backbone network traffic,and reduce the request delay,and support three different communication mode;Second,based on the architecture,a set of rules for content naming and message translation are formulated;Thirdly,the requirements of the mapping table involved in the scheme are analyzed.The appropriate query matching algorithm is selected and compared with the conventional matching algorithm to verify its performance superiority under this architecture.The network convergence architecture proposed in this paper can not only improve the network performance under many high-traffic application scenarios,but also has important significance for the research and evolution of network architecture.
