In recent years, the development of FPGA technology mature, application of the rapid expansion of the field, home to the FPGA study and learn fast, FPGA can solve the lack of custom circuit, overcomes the original programmable gate limited number of defects, but also because of its parallel processing and programmable properties, and high speed data processing ability, by a lot of companies favor. Especially in the field of high speed communication, can make many very complicated application and function is simplified, greatly reducing the workload of the design. Because the program does not need to be too complicated skills or program structure, also does not need to be very sophisticated hardware knowledge, as long as have certain electronics knowledge can quickly get started, which received a lot of electronic communication practitioners favor. The FPGA study has very strong practicality, to tie in with the school of communication system experiment teaching needs, it is necessary to make a suitable for students to use based on the FPGA device, can be achieved FPGA various experimental and communication system of various complex waveform transform, coding and decoding function.This paper is the design and development of FPGA communication system device based on EP2C8T144C8N. to achieve the functions such as analog-to-digital conversion, digital-analog conversion,LCD display, keyboard operation, the input and output pins of the overall design and hardware implementation and software implementation, and the experimental board are arranged on the whole test and experiment simulation. The paper pays attention to the practice and summary of communication specialty, practice has certain auxiliary guiding role. In this paper, the device design using ALTERA ’s CYCLONE series EP2C8T144C8N chip, with the realization FPGA function of various peripheral chips, including A/D, D/A, LCD, LED and digital tube.
