Research On Digital Information Organization2.0Mode In University Library Based On Users’ Demands

With the emergence of Web2.0in2004, Web2.0has come into focus, which is open-oriented, user-centered and famous for users’ paticipation and share. It is a new idea and a new operation way of the Internet. The use of Web2.0in library is the upgrade for library service and system, what’s more, is also the innovation for information organization’s technology in library. However, due to various reasons, there are many problems in digital information organization.0in university library in our country. Digging the users’ demands deeply and researching on information organization’s technology of Wec2.0are both significant for the development of digital information organazation2.0of university library.First, this paper firstly summarizes the theory and practical of digital information organization2.0in university library at home and abroad. Then this paper summarizes the meanings and characteristics of digital information organization2.0in university library and advances the author’s own view. Subsequently the related technologies (RSS, Blog, Wiki, Tag are introduced.Secondly, through researching university library Site at home and abroad, this paper enumerates the applications of digital information organization2.0in university library. And a survey to the application status was made both domestic and broad, and it also makes a comparative analysis. Throgh the analysis we can see the deficiency clearly in domestic university libraries. Three cases related digital information organization2.0in university library are selected as example to analyze, including Case Western Reserve University’s Kelvin Smith Library RSS. Ohio State university library BLOG and University of Wisconsin System Library CUWL WIKI.In order to dig about the users’s demands and know the feasibility of digital information organization2.0in university library in our country, a survey by questionnaires and inquiring was taken in5domestic university libraries in NANJING. In this investigation,800readers and120librarians were inquired and the survey data was made statistical analysis.On the bases of the theory, technical analysis and researching data, the paper has a gradually in-depth study on digital information organization2.0model in university library. Firstly, it generally analyzes the elements, which make of the mode of digital information organization2.0. Secondly, it constructs three individual modes from three different technologies:RSS、BLOG and WIKI. At last, on the basis of above three models and actual surveys, this paper constructs a integrated mode of digital information organization2.0in university library, and make an performance analysis. This paper hopes to provide constructive suggestions for digital information organization2.0in university library to a certain extent.
