Practical Study Of Library2.0 In The University Library

Today of science and technology with rapid change, the development of Internet's information technology is swift and more violent too.With the promotion of new Internet technology ,Internet has entered the era of Web2.0 from Web1.0 era. Web2.0 affects whole internet in a surprising step since it has been named. It enables Internet users to be changed from information recipients to information creators and disseminators,from recipents to main body, from individual to community, from a new phenomenon of users-centric, open, participatory, interactive, sharing Internet. The libraries in domestic and foreign perceived keenly this development trend, sought posivively the library transformation and innovation, then a new concept comes, library 2.0. Thus library is changing, the concept of library 2.0 affects library users'information seeking behaviors, communication styles, and expectations. And it put the library's sevice principle----"users first, reader-oriented"into practice. Based on this, the libraries has carried on some exploration to the library2.0 in theories and practice. In such background, the thesis consisted of five parts:The first part was the introduction, in which the research subject of this thesis was introduced and the current situation of the domestic and overseas research in this fiedl was clearly expounded.The second part was mainly introducin definitions both of Web2.0 and library 2.0, and gave exact reasons why library applies library 2.0.The third part analyzed the principle of main technology------Blog, Tag, RSS, Wiki and their application in library.The fourth part is based on the survey of practice of library 2.0 about our contry universities, with the hope of providing inspiration and reference for the library 2.0 construction and development in the future.The fifth part analyzed problems that we faced in using library 2.0 and discussed the methods that could solve the problems we mentioned.
