In recent years, with the popularity of new media applications, parents of university students over 18 years old are active users of new technologies instead of bystanders when it comes to network. New media play an important role in family life between parents and offspring. Children are pivotal in teaching their parents forming the habit to use new media. This article focuses on the cultural feedback and the appearance of middle region based on 10 families. According to the research, cultural feedback is normal and appreciable and has limited impact on children’s discourse right. The concern about children is extended to the Internet. New media applies more communication opportunities for the family members, but information in fragmentation influences the quality of communication. Parents can see the background of offspring through new media, which makes the middle region appear. In order to maintain a harmonious relationship between each other, both sides form the tacit consensus. Overall, New media does not lead to demonstrable changes in the status of children in the family, but has potential effects that the importance of family relationship is falling.
