We live in an Information Technology highly developed world, newtechnologies provides a great help for our work and life by collectinginformation. With the continuous advancement of t he Information Technologyand the communication demand growth between the departments, informationcollection requirements from its own internal resources of the company isrising, integration of these information can help decision-making and provide abasis for judgment for company, so it is very important. Data managementsoftware is the tool to help enterprises to accomplish these tasks. For datamanagement software, how can be more in line with the user’s psychologicalexpectations during the process, how to meet the needs of users in order tobring a good user experience, is the k ey whether it can win the trust of usersand achieve commercial success. This study is separated into three parts, first we do studies for the conceptof the user’s mental mod el and its use in interaction design. The second stageis the user research part. This stage’s design follows Alan Cooper’s target-oriented design method, I summed up the main user groups of the product, t hetarget user’s mental model and analyze the needs of users, at the same timethrough the user experience evaluation to the existing products we determinethe direction of the design. Finally, on the basis of earlier studies, carry out aspecific interface design. This study’s significance and the main innovation is that, first throughstudy of the mental model concept and human cognitive processes ininteraction design, combined with the assimilation and adaptation theory ofcognitive psychologist Jean Piaget, come up with the user mental model baseddata analysis software interaction design method, combine interactive designprocess which has been with the user’s mental model study; second is to assessthe user experience honeycomb model to evaluate existing products, find outexisting products lack of usefulness and can be found factors. Then putforward the design optimization direction of the data analysis software, in theback part is interface design practice. Further quantitative assessmen t of thedesign is complete by applying user experience honeycomb model to verify the design results. This study can be referenced for the same type of interactiondesign.
