Research On APP Emotional Design Based On User Mental Model

With the enrichment of modern material level,people have more new needs for life.Users are not only satisfied that the product can complete a specific function,but also have higher expectations for the product.On the basis of meeting the basic physiological and security needs of users,products pursue more emotional needs from the society,so emotional design has gradually become the focus of designers.Designers hope to let users feel the warmth of the product through emotional design,to create a good emotional experience for users when using the product,and to make users understand the value of the product more deeply.Emotional design is inseparable from the user's mind,in order to realize the emotional design of the product,the relationship between the user's mind and the emotional expression of the product is established,This is the focus of this paper.Based on the analysis of user mental model,this paper constructs app emotional model,so as to carry out the emotional design of app.Through the collection and processing of users' mental information,the research and analysis of users' mental model are carried out.The three levels of users' mental model,namely "user cognition,user behavior and user emotion",are analyzed,and the corresponding "instinct level,behavior level and reflection level" of emotional design are analyzed.The mapping relationship between users' mental model and emotional design is established,Then,the mapping relationship is mapped to the "interface element research,functional requirements research and product emotional experience research" of app,so as to build an app emotional design model,and take reading app as an example to carry out emotional design application,and then verify it.So as to realize the "user centered" design of app,make the product design more temperature and emotional,improve the user's stickiness to the product,and also improve the user's emotional experience when using the product.
