Office automation system is an important part of enterprise informativeconstruction, and office automation system management way is to implement a syste mwhich is enterprises and executive business’s handling of the reaction now. But if youwant to change or you want the office system of administrative business’s handling ofthe change, threatens to cause the whole office automation software designed to design,a set of the office-automation system having the ability to be flexible with the officemode and regulations transform and transform is put in at present which the enterprisesface the problem to be solved, thus the system to design a waiver of the original systemis to develop new system, the operation cost, leading companies of greatly enhanced;And the new development of information are also may not fit for company regulationchanges in the beginning. How to develop an office automation system as Shanghaiyouth the administrative cadre institute rules change and can flexible without the needfor the system to develop system type in the software development company, is theproblem that needs to be solved, while the emergence of workflow technology presentsa solution for the above problem. The workflow engine using workflow technology tomake the whole office automation system with flexib ility, can greatly reduce the cost ofthe redevelopment of the system and most current workflow product applies only to theactual situation of large-scale enterprises, this paper will put forward and develop alightweight workflow system based on relational database and J2EE framework andused in office automation system.This paper is according to the author’s work background and it is for the Shanghaiyouth, the administrative cadre institute office automation platform to design. First, wewill study the basic concept and workflow work-flow management system function andsystem structure in different researches, and then we will analyze the workflowmodeling method of office automation system, functional requirements andnon-functional requirements carried on the detailed analysis of the addressee postings,waiting for flow, a detailed analysis of workflow engine, and we put forward a lightweight design scheme. In the system design, the workflow model in workflowmanagement coalition model based on the Yuan is extended to four parts, namelyprocess model, organization model, resource model and the workflow-relevant data anddesigned the organization model, resource model and the process model based onactivity network; In the process model design, it adopts the process definition languagebased on XML which can be better integration with other workflow definition; thegrammar for the workflow is given based on the graph theory verification and validationmethods; it puts forward engine core components of the system structure and engineworking mechanism; Engine based on J2EE tri-tier structure, driven by Bean and JMSmacro-combined, and based on relational database way to realize. This paper introducesthe core in detail, namely flow engine hot-mouse, activity manager, flow navigationdevice and the task manager of the implementation and gives the workflow engineperformance optimization strategy. Finally, it will design and realize the lightweightworkflow engine applied in Shanghai young cadre institute of management officeautomation system. The application results show that engines can support flexibleprocess, configuration and deployment for convenient.Through theoretical analysis and practice research, in this paper, the researchresults obtained are good for further development and improvement of the workflowengine based on lightweight workflow management system which also provides ahelpful idea.
