Recently, project cost management is in a process of rapid development in ourcountry, informationization has immerged into each field of the management. In orderto realize and strengthen the informationization, scientificalness and standardization ofthe project cost management. We design and develop a project cost information systemin this thesisFirstly, The related theory and technology of the project cost information systemis introduced in this thesis. Then, we adopted the UML modeling/analysis designmethod to complete the demand analysis and system analysis of the project costinformation system, wherein the activity diagram and Use cases diagram of UML areused for analysis of business processes and business cases in demand analysis, whileinteraction diagram of UML is used to realize the dynamic modeling of a system.Finally, the overall structure of the system is designed, includes: cost estimation, projectmanagement, template management, price management, system maintenance and exit.We design the network structure by adopted three layer B/S distributing system, then,the database, input/output, function module, testing of the sysytem are designeddetailedly, and the windows of the main function of the system are displayed.The performance of the project cost information system is well though testing, theuse of this system has made the collecting and clearing up the project cost data out oftraditional handwork, with high efficient and correction, its responsive to thedevelopment of the informationization of project cost. Meanwhile, the B/S model andobject-oriented design are adopted for the system, it provided effectively significationfor others research on construction information systems....
