Rapid determination after the earthquake is to be determined including the followings:the place and how much when the earthquake happens; whether there are casualtiesande destruction of buildings or not in the earthquake; whether there are aftershocksafter the earthquake, how much magnitude; whether there is a larger earthquake or not.Timely, efficient, and orderly carrying out emergency work after the earthquake is inorder to the maximumly reducing the earthquake disasters, casualties and economiclosses. In response to these issues, the paper researchs a mathod of quickly determining thetrend of post-earthquake seismic on the base of the research on earthquake sequence, and does an innovative and exploratory research for post-earthquake. The main contentsinclude the followings:1.On the basis of the reference about earthquake catalog table, the arcticle studiesthe decomposition of the historic earthquakes and establishs a simple and easyinteracting earthquakes code.2.This arcticle studies the parsing of earthquakes information, and discussesdynamic rendering and quick determination bases of the post-earthquake tendency3.Finally, we debug and run by using VB6.0in the windows XP platform, and usethe determination system at22:21on December20,2009in Jiaozuo City, HenanProvince, the area of Xiuwu County, Wuzhi Henan Xinxiang with the junction area ofWalker County.113.50east longitude, latitude35.20degrees, the ML3.6class feltearthquake, carrying on a determining test. In a relatively short period, it can properlydetermine the type of earthquake.Through this work, the system can quickly determine the type of subsequentearthquakes in a short periodis based on the well-prepared earthquake catalog database, which has achieved good results in the actual seismic testing.
