With the rapid development of domestic civil aviation and increasing complexity of technologies on aircraft, aircraft maintenance faces great pressure. Mobile computing and wearable computing have been fast developed in the recent decade, especially with the popularity of smart phones, tablet computers and head mounted displays, which has also drawn a lot of attention in industrial maintenance. The wearable computing maintenance and assistant device is a mini and personal mobile computing assistant device which helps the human cooperate. Comparing with the other devices, it requires higher demands for the power consumption, volume and the structure. Due to the limitation of the battery capacity, the power consumption has become the focus in the field of wearable computing. Although some achievements have been made, the development of the wearable assistant terminal with low power consumptions is still a challenge. The work in this thesis is funded by the large aircraft project from the major project of the State. Its main task is to develop the digital maintenance and support system of the large aircraft. The thesis contains the following aspects.Firstly, according to the practical requirement of application, the technology of the wearable computing is applied to the aviation aircraft maintenance and assistance. A set of wearable maintenance and assistant system is designed, which is suitable for the maintenance personnel.Secondly, considering the requirement of the low power consumption, an appropriate power consumption control method is discussed in the thesis to make sure the low power consumption process of the wearable maintenance and assistant systemThirdly, the designed system function has been tested, and verified the efficiency of the low power consumption system strategy. The wearable maintenance and assistant system designed in this thesis has been tested through a number of experiments, which satisfies the basic designing. After analyzing the results, it is clearly that the low power technology proposed in this thesis can remarkably reduce the power consumption of the system.
