Wearable Computer is a personal mobile computing system characterized by micro,wearability,perfect wedding and coordination between human and computer. It is the unavoidable product of the concept "Computing should fit human and contribute to the combination between human and machine". According as wearable computer is used in all kinds of industrial area,people gradually pay more attention to using wearable computer to conduct cooperation work,specially conducting multimedia cooperation work. Wearable computer supported cooperation work is different from CSCW in traditional way. Wearable computer supported cooperation work is based on a mobile computing platform,and its requirement for the technology of human-machine interaction multimedia,wireless communication is brand new and more precision. The widen computer application area and extended computer function brought by wearable computer presents new subject and challenge for computer science and technology.Through the study on Assembly and Maintenances in industrial area,we hope we can present a practical solution of Wearable Computing Supported Cooperative Work System for Equipment Maintenance. The solution can greatly improve the working capability and efficiency of technician.The major works includes:1.Based on the collection and read on a great deal of literatures, and depends on the research on the wearable computer used in equipment maintenance concerned field in and aboard,it hereby analyze by comparison. Practical research combined with manufacturing and ministry brotherly company, it puts forward the required task function congregation in establishment of practical Expert Guidance and Team Collaboration system based on the wearable computer.2.For adapting aspects of Wearable Computing Supported Cooperative Work system,the hybrid architecture based on client/sever is proposed. In this architecture,hierarchical multi-servers is supported,the session control adopt the central structure of simplifying the system control,the shared application and data adopt the replicated structure of relieving the work Load of server and reacting the changes in time. Under this architecture,an auto-coordinated concurrency control algorithm based on the operation relationship is provided. In this algorithm,the event relating with an operation is executed locally and stored in a buffer. When receiving an event from other nodes, it is justified by the operation relationship. If a conflict exists among the events,only local coordination process is needed.3.Some other collaboration tools have been implemented in the prototype system.(1)Electronic Whiteboard,(2)Remote Control,(3)Video Assistance,(4)Radio Assistance,(5)Message Assistance,(6)File Transmit. All of tools have designed and implemented with method of modularization and design pattern. These tools can be easily integrated with system because of its expansible and interactive interface.4.The prototype system has been designed and implemented. Based on the method of Rational Unified Process and the Object Oriented programming,system requirement has been analyzed,domain area and software architecture have been established. Finally, Wearable Support prototype System of Expert Guidance and Team Collaboration has been implemented.
