The birth of wearable computers has brought about a significant change to our traditional relation of human computer interaction, and caused important influences to our life. The wearable computer realizes the advanced interaction style and interaction idea of "people first", but it needs the support of the computing environment because of the individual wearable computer's limited resources. For that reason, we present the idea of wearable computing environment. Then we study some key subjects in the field of wearable computer, including how wearable computing environment supports wearable computers, the system architecture of wearable computer, and so on. This paper carefully studies and analyzes the wearable computing environment based on some achievement from the analyst of international studies concerning wearable computing environment. Our main works are listed below:1) At present, domestic research about wearable computers are at the first stage, and the direct studies about wearable computers and their environment are nearly empty. This paper, based on the collection and reading many professional journals, and systematically investigates the characteristics of wearable computers and the key problems in demand for solutions, and summarizes them. At the same time, we analyze the current computing environment, and point out the virtues and disadvantage of current research.2) The reason for the shortcomings in the current computing environment system architecture, this paper presents a new wearable computing environment system architecture integrating user context-aware with distributed service structure. In the system architecture, the wearable computing environment can actively perceive and trace the user position, and service level may actively serve according to the user position. The wearable computer may dynamically acquire services from the environment or output its services to the environment.3) Against the wearable computing environment system architecture presented by this paper, we make sketch designs for every level, and preliminarily some functions in the service level of the wearable computer using JAVA&XML.4) This paper presents a GUI service system architecture based on XML, and then designs the software structure for the service system architecture.
