Middleware-based Mobile Office Applications

The fast wireless brought by the growing maturity of3G, the increasing3G smart phones, combined with the desire for fast, efficient and remote office, all these three aspects are prompting the increasing demand of mobile office.For the urgent needs of the car sales industry to the construction of the mobile information, this paper presents a program of the XMAP middleware technology based mobile phone mobile office.On the one hand,this programe is convenient for the sales consultant and customer communications on the move; On the other hand it facilitates the leadership of high-level research performance of the company sales, handle the company’s business during a business trip.There are two kinds to implement mobile phone mobile office system:wap and customize the client. The client has simple pages, low flow, fast speed, high security advantages. Compared with wap, the client is more suitable for handling a large workload of the mobile office. So this paper uses the client as a way to achieve. The client uses XMAP middleware of fiberhome to convert the business systems of the automotive sales industry. This way uses XSL and XPATH to convert XML to UIXML which can be displayed on the phone. This way make WEB application systems of the enterprise, such as OA, ERP, transformed into the mobile client. This development is low cost, fast development, convenient and suitable for large-scale operation, appropriate to promote application.Traditional office methods work mostly between the intranet, the network security level is less demanding. Information transmission for mobile phone mobile office to be exposed to the external network and system security issues must be taken seriously, especially for the confidentiality requirements of the enterprise. In this paper, the VPDN transmission program base on WCDMA/GPRS, dedicated access, the data is highly encrypted; Firewall and gateway make the internal and external network isolated Safely; The use of MAS server to achieve the specification of information management; To achieve multi-level authentication to the logged-on user, etc.The project has been piloted and found a little problem in the pilot process, such as the page is sometimes cumbersome and more, resulting in phone memory; automatically exit; video playback is smooth; a bug in certain procedures. These problems have to be revised. In addition customers also made a further demand for these, we are conducting the secondary development of this product and look forward to on-line as soon as possible, and committed across the country.
