The tide of Web2.0has opened the new stage of Internet applications. New user-experience changed people’s way of thinking and the means of accessing to information. The development of Library2.0, Government2.0showed that the related departments actively adapt to the Web2.0. Archives websites are the important ways for archives information service. Archives sites’construction, no doubt, is one important index to measure the information service of archives department. Web2.0applications have positive significance for archives information service, concept innovation and extending the service space, strengthening the interaction with users.The paper started from introducing Web2.0applications and took the social media strategy of the NARA for an example,introduced the concept of Archives2.0which was a new stage of the archives information service and a new annotation of Web2.0in archive fields.It was the diversification comprehensive effect of the network technology,specialization, the complicated users. According to survey the Web2.0applications on our archives websites, we found that our archives websites were largely hanging on, and not make it work for the network information services. The paper attempted to start from the function orientation and philosophy of our archives information service, analyze the feasibility, characteristics and advantages of the Web2.0tools. Based on construction of our archives websites and with the inspirations from the advanced measures of NARA, our archives departments should think it reasonably. We discussed the websites construction planning and development process from the concept transformation and related tools used. Indeed, the new stage of information service came with problems on using Web2.0to reshape the information service. These obstacles will always on the road and must be solved step by step. We also tried to put forward the corresponding development suggestions.
