| Embedded real-time video transmission system is widely used in many areas of security defense and traffic management for good market prospect. The design that based on DM6446embedded hardware platform, using the RTP protocol compatible with3G network achieved real-time transmission of high-quality H.264video stream and video image in real time to transfer smoothly.The paper proposed DM6446embedded hardware platform based on ARM+DSP dual-core processor architecture. Then, the transplantation method of the U-Boot and Linux kernel and NFS file systems mounted in the DM6446board were discussed in detail combined with the system hardware architecture. After above work, Codec Engine mechanism and VISA call process in DaVinci software were discussed and designed the development framework of system software.The system application program was developed. The system contains the sending end and receiving end. The sending end which based on Davinci DM6446board using Linux multi-thread programming techniques, enables video capture, H.264compression and RTP network transmission. The receiving end achieved receiving, decoding and playback of streaming media data by embedding VLC player ActiveX control to web page in the Windows operating system. The real-time video capture, encoding, transmission of the sending end and the software design of receiving end were completed in this paper.The performance of real-time video transmission system developed in this paper were tested and analyzed after configuring the sending end and receiving end. Experimental results show that the system was runed stably, real-time transmission of video was realized. Video transmission principle was deeply grasped by analysis of experimental data. |
