Along with the development of the electronic communication technology,mobile video industry is affecting all aspects of the society. With theimprovement of people’s living standard, the local video service can not meet thegrowing material and cultural needs of people, people are paying more attentionon the related product of mobile video service. Remote real-time videoconference system, remote video phone system and remote mobile video real-time monitoring system show up in time; Especially in the society that the paceof life is so fast, remote mobile video real-time monitoring system it is to becometop priority. But there is a highly demanding of real-time and terminal of videomonitoring system, thus the video processing chip must have not only the greatcontrol and operation ability, but also have abundant and efficient systemresources, and can shorten the development cycle, quick to enter the market.Aim at the video processing system especially the video signal with highlyreal-time requirements of large amount of data transmission, the importance ofthe central video processing chip is great.After the comparison of moremainstream chip of the market, the digital media processor TMS320DM6467with highly performance based on DaVinci technology produced by the Americancompany Texas instruments is used in this design.This paper is focused on the hardware design of the mobile video serverwhich can do real-time monitoring through the terminal (cell phone/PDA), Thefunction of the hardware design is capturing video through the many four localBD cameras and then uploaded by the network server, so the terminal can accessfor real-time; The user name and the access setting could be completed at thesame time. This paper explained the smallest system, video input/output module,Ethernet module, storage module circuit design and the corresponding workingprinciple. And finished the analysis and verification of the related signal sim- ulation of the PCB based on schematic. Finally draw a conclusion that this designcan guarantee the accuracy of signal transmission.The mobile video server basedon TMS320DM6467will have a good prospect for mobile video monit-oringfield.
