Waterproof roll is popularly applied in the architecture industry field,but the waterproofdetecting equipment is very few,and the nondestructive detecting equipment is more few,so theequipment about waterproof will develope fastly. Ultrasonic testing is one of the maintechnologies of nondestructive testing with the advantages of safe, non-destructive and cheap. andhas been extensively applied in the aerospace, nuclear, weapons, ships, bridges, tunnels andvarious other industry sector. The design of portable waterproof roll seam quality detectioninstrument is mainly used in thickness measurement of waterproof roll,and it has very highpratical value.Ultrasonic Flaw Detector is the achivevd carrier of ultrasonic testingtechnology.Along with the rapid development of the computer technology, embedded (ARM)Hardware and software systems, Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) and Digital SignalProcessing(DSP) and etc, ultrasonic flaw detector is also moving toward the development ofdigital and intelligent direction, and the growing range, detect depth is increasing, sampling rate isgetting higher and higher, and locating defects is more and more accurate. This article is primarilyaimed at developing an embedded Ultrasonic tester, the main contents are as follows:(1) the basic theories and methods of ultrasonic testing is summeried, and detection methodsand ultrasound parameters through experimental verification has been done to analyze the resultsof the analysis.(2) A set of system hardware design is proposed based on ARM platform,including otherperipheral circuit, interface and chips such as GPIO, UART, SDRAM, FLASH, LCD and signalamplifier and filter circuit.(3) The more perfect embedded software system is designed based on the embedded hardwaresystem. The main contents are embedded development system transplant (Linux) and hardware(LCD) program design, but the graphical interface configuration and application softwaredevelopment has not yet to be realized.In short, This article details of the study to the solution of portable ultrasound detectors inwaterproof problem with the application, provided a reference program, which have a certain...
