Research On On-Line Ultrasonic Testing System Based On CNC Lathe

Research on on-line ultrasonic testing system based on CNC lathe takes the part, which is the intersection of the part maching by the CNC lathe and the object detected by the ultrasonic testing technology, as the detection object, then this has the important meaning for realizing the detection object universalization, reducing the investment and the run cost. This article proposes the research and the development on-line ultrasonic testing system based on CNC lathe, according to the present exiting question of the automatic ultrasonic testing technology. The main contexts as following:(1) The system overall program is designed according to the function requirement. The ultrasonic testing system is made up of the ultrasonic testing program computer-aided design sub-system, the ultrasonic testing sub-system, the mechanical scanning and the controlling sub-system, the ultrasonic testing signal processing and automatic judgement sub-system, the testing operation sub-system.(2) The concept of ultrasonic testing program is proposed, and the primary context. The general ultrasonic testing craft and the ultrasonic signal processing is be studied, which provide the theoretical basis of the ultrasonic testing program.(3) The computer-aided design system of ultrasonic testing program is studied, and be divided modularize according to the function. The desing system based on the knowledge has be constructed, then by integrating the database technology with Expert System technology and applying the Inference Engine to design the program craft automatically, the research enhances detection program's automation process. Take the plate parts for example, to illustrate the process of the ultrasonic detection program computer-aided design, and get the ultrasonic detection program of plate.(4) The concept of ultrasonic testing accessory is proposed, which includes the testing and data acquisition module, the ultasonic detection equipment module, coordination controlling module, which are be researched in detail. And the coordination controlling module is the core of accessory. In the electrical circuit design, a frequency multiple circuit based phase locked loop is adopted to produce the pluse needed in the system, which can control crack detector and data acquisition card, the system also uses the movement control word to control the stepper motor which realizes the probe additional movement, at the same time has also solved the control system disturbance problem.(5) Finally, the integrated technology of the ultrasonic testing accessory and the CNC lathe is researched.The ultrasonic automation testing system is one kind of low cost, wide detection range and easy operation automatic detection equipment, which is digital, iconized and intellectualized. This promotes the development of the automatic ultrasonic testing technology greatly and more widespread promotion application, and makes the contribution to enhance the technical level of our country industry.
