Engineering And Design Of The Army Training And Testing System

Military training is one of the most important tasks in peaceful time. The automatic management of military training and testing and the scientific decision of training emphases are effective measures which can guarantee the training quality and enhance the battle effectiveness. According to the actual requirement of military training, the paper chooses two parts as the emphases. The first part is to establish the universal military training and testing OLTP system on the basis of the new training and testing outline. The second is to establish the training and testing OLAP system based on the daily accumulated information of the OLTP system with data warehouse and OLAP technologies. The former is used for the military training and testing. The latter provides references for assistant decision-making of military training.(1) The military training and testing OLTP system is established based on the new training and testing outline. The universal information frame is designed, which can adapt to the requirement of the Navy, the Airforce.(2) Some key issues of the OLTP system are solved such as the processing of the test questions with special format, the designing of the papers’extracting algorithm, the distributing of papers with special format through network and the optimizing of system by the technology of multithreading.(3) By analyzing the information structure of the OLTP system, the paper designs the total structure of the military training and testing OLAP system, which includes the headquarter date warehouse and the brigade data mart. The paper also studies and realizes the OLAP system.(4) The paper gives the designing method of the data warehouse module of the OLAP system by illustrating the topic of practical operation score. The data in the topic’s multimensional data sets of the headquarter date warehouse and the brigade data mart is visited and displayed.
