Research Of Core-Network Disaster Recovery Technology

"Soft-Switch"and"IP Bearing capacity"have become the main trend of the development of mobile network, and meanwhile the security and credibility problem of the mobile core network really stands out. Core network disaster recovery is already an unavoidable subject of our carriers.This paper develops into four aspects: firstly, it looks into the field of core network disaster recovery and points out the shortcomings of the current research results and presents a specific direction for further study; secondly, it discusses deeply from the credibility theory and technical feasibility about the technology used in core network disaster recovery and offers theories and methods of"credibility model of core network","implement framework of disaster recovery technology"and"distribution curve of disaster recovery technology", which are used as recommended solutions for the precaution and reaction mechanism for the core network of China Mobile; thirdly, it discusses about the operation principals, technical advantage and applicable situation of the main disaster recovery technology MSC POOL, and presents the writer's own view on problems including NNSF calculation, NRI sign and"recovery of called business"; last but not least, the papers provides several strategies on MSC POOL brought in by carriers and uses Shanghai Mobile as an experimental unit for giving specific solutions and recommendations.The paper is based on the scientific research project of China Mobile Group Shanghai Co., Ltd., officially launched in 2007(The research number is [2007]386, with the writer as the project leader and it has passed scientific identification in June 2008). This paper's research achievements on both theory and application have served as main references for core network disaster recovery planning, construction and operation, and that's where its value comes from.
