Mobile payment, a developing technology based upon the radio frequency identification (RFID) and interconnection, can be defined as the behavior of the transaction through mobile phones and other mobile communication devices. With the large-scale application of 3G,Mobile payment has become a hot topic. Its technical architecture can achieve electronic payments, authentication, ticketing, data exchanging, security, advertising and so on,and can trigger a series of novel user consumption and application mode. The data from the Ministry of Information Industry showed that the total number of customers using mobile payment in China was close to 20 million, and the amount of payment was 17.0 billion up to the first half of 2009. However, it is also known that mobile payment in China is still in its infancy and has not yet formed a complete set of technical standards. A great deal of research work will be done on the ultra-high frequency mobile payment scheme to achieve more mature technology as well as better scheme and to form a complete set of UHF mobile payment standards.In the thesis, the electromagnetic fundamental and antenna theory of radio frequency identification is summarized. The long-distance UHF reader of mobile payment has been designed with the combination of hardware and software upon in-depth study of the basic principles, development process and development status of mobile payment. An ultra-high frequency range positioning technology is presented, which enabled the environment of mobile payment more safe and innovated the theoretical method of mobile payment. The principal tasks are as follows:First of all, the project development process is analyzed and designed based on the electromagnetic theory and antenna technology of the radio frequency identification. The performance indicators, basic composition, working principle and data protocol of UHF mobile payment system are described in detail.Secondly, the system working state diagram is completed according to the principle. The system low-power idea and distance control methods are described. The selection of system hardware chip is completed in the thesis.Thirdly, the hardware components and design methods of the RF-SIM reader are discussed. There have been the hardware and software designs of the reader's RF transceiver module, MCU module, control module and so on.Fourthly, a kind of range positioning method was innovatively proposed. To meet the application in the field of advertising, RF power amplifiers (RFPA) were designed as the front-end transceiver circuits of the card reader, which meets the long-distance radio transmission requirements. The thesis presented a kind of wideband microstrip antenna.Fifthly, the PCB design and hardware and software debugging are made in this thesis.
