The Application Of The Project Management To Mobile Telecommunications Network Construction

Research Propose:There are many challenges in Lvliang TD-SCDMA project management of construction period with low maturity of TD technology itself. To ensure network quality, therefore, China Mobile needs to make more network optimization, that is to say, within a relatively limited time, we have to schedule a variety of resources to complete the Lvliang Mobile TD network construction and optimization reasonably. This paper aims to apply the knowledge and tools of project management to the whole processs of construction project and network optimization for the progress and quality inprovement. The findings of this study can provide some useful reference for the Lvliang mobile engineering and optimization practice.Research Methods:The research framework mainly include schedule management, quality management. Case data is collected through field observation, interviews, archives and so forth. The analytical technology is mainly pattern matching.Research findings:(1) The through decomposition of the project tasks using WBS tools and restrict schcdul implemention combining with such as project management tools as key path method are the key factors for a successful engineering project. (2) During the construction period, a rigorous examination of the quality of daily, monthly and other stage document quality control is required to avoid the blind pursuit of progress of the construction(3) The trade-off between the progress and quality in project management is premised on meeting of the project requirements.Research limitations:(1) Project management covers a wide range and variety of engineering projects and hence this study do not necessarily have a common representation of them.(2) The research only focuses on quality management and schedule management. But other aspects of the application of project management still is worthy being explored.
