Substation intelligence operation platform is established by Beijing electric power company, according to the strategic disposition of the intelligent power grid, enclosing the development target of "One center, three platforms" while performing the practical exploration of "Maintenance of state, lean management arid construction standardized" and also based on the advanced information technology, digital technology automation technology. With the help of the old production management process was smashed by the intelligence operation platform, we can create kind of new Production Management Mode which is more scientific, more efficient, to realize the integration of substation operation, maintenance and the production management, and to improve the substation of production operation Control-ability, as well as the control level of the operation of power networks.In the project implementation process, in order to adapt to the electric power enterprise information integration of long-term demand, from the point of view of solving practical problems, we focus on the application of the new standards and new technologies. The flexibility, advancement, safety, standardization and intelligentialize of the electric power enterprise application substation intelligence operation platform to be guaranteed finally, by using the latest computer technology, network technology, the most updated software development technology and following those international standards.This paper makes a study of the IEC61970CIM and its extension based on SVG public interactive standard, and on the unity of the model IEC61970unified coding standard. In the field of new technology, the accord with IEC61970CIS GDA HSDA TSDA standard interface and the Internet data center; XML Web services is supported by the system of common interface, to realize the information exchange between factory stand, each monitoring system and PMS/OMS etc. For the system interconnection don’t support the IEC61970standard, the system will have the interface packaging technology, its private models and graphics will be transferred into the standard models and graphics.Substation intelligence operation platform is a collection of equipment panoramic information display, equipment effectiveness evaluation, and production management. It has the features of the huge databases, and comprehensive functions etc. This paper is just focus on the intelligent operation platform framework design, the key technology of the platform development, which is based on CORBA interface design and implementation. Our topic will be associated with all the stages of intelligence operation platform construction. And in the process of the whole construction, we will improve the ideas for structure design, and to lay a solid function for the system of subsequent operation maintenance by using the software technology and the interface technology.Substation intelligence operation platform experienced four years since the project establishment, went through from the feasibility analysis scheme, project construction and implementation until online operation built. Each function of reflecting system has been operated normal, and the original design purpose has been realized through the effectiveness of practical operation of the system. This paper studies the system structure design, key technology and each interface design completely applied in a system to ensure the platform operate stable, under the premise of complete all functional requirements, achieved remarkable results. The construction of the substation intelligence operation platform has played a huge role for Beijing power grid to improve the safety and steady operation.
