This article choose a matchmaking program in GuangXi TV of Movie channel as the study object, analyze TV matchmaking program’s three period, current situation and why this program become prevailing and achieve so high audience rating. Comparing with the popular TV matchmaking program in home and abroad, this article laid more emphasis on expounding GuangXi TV’s advantages and shortages. Meanwhile, the article has got a conclusion that this program’s lifecycle is6.7years on average through the statistics of these programs’lifecycle. And trying to find a new outlet for the matchmaking program in provincial local channel and discussing the local channel how to hold the appreciated TV program. It regard getting the innovation model, blending in the local characteristic and laying more emphasis on brand extension as the correct developing direction of the future matchmaking program.
