Analysis Of China’s National Image In The Asian Journal

China’s national image has been "Western manufacturing", because a large number of false reports, China’s national image has long been misread。Overseas Chinese media, as part of Chinese culture, play an active and important role in terms of objective reports on China’s economic development, eliminate doubts and misunderstandings of the international community, to show the real China, and reconstruct a good image of China.In six Chinese newspapers in Thailand,"Asian Times" is the youngest and most dynamic of a Chinese-language newspapers, by numerous reports of Chinese news and information to build a harmonious development, sun vigor image of China.In this study, with the help of journalism, communication and other related theories, using a combination of literature research and content analysis method to analyze the news reports about China on the Asian Times between2009and2010,it observed that Asian Times construct a warm, positive, friendly and responsible image of the country, and it shows the image of China is a government responsibility, dealing with social problems properly, sustained economic development, military power is growing, peace-loving, profound cultural, scientific and technological progress, neither excessive overstating, but also no intention to belittle.In this paper, through analyzing the "Asian Times" how to present China’s national image", reveals the advantages and disadvantages of the news reports,then enrich and expand the scope of the study of China’s national image, for overseas Chinese media and domestic media engaged in the practice of China’s national image transmission provide some useful information and reference.
