The rapid expansion of private enterprises and considerable development ofeconomy in Xiaoshan District inevitably lead to the higher requirement on electricalproduction. Especially, in recent years, the exiting power generation cannot meet withnew demand. Considering the practical situation, Xiaoshan Power Supply Bureau hasadopted plenty of measures to alleviate the inequality of electricity supply and demand.However, owning to the specificity of region and economy, there exist a few ofshortcomings in power engineering management. With the continuous deepening of theDistribution Management System (DMS) in the electrical area, the current projectmanagement mode then would impede the further improvement in administration andservice.The major objectives of the utilization of DMS are as follows. Firstly, devising a10kv electrical engineering computer-assisted design software to standardize the projectconstruction drawings in different stages, and also it can increase the productivity ofplotting. Secondly, establishing a scientific power engineering management process toregulate the business operation during the construction. Thirdly, developing a feasibleand effective10kv electricity data update procedure, which would finally provide thenecessary auxiliary decision support to production management.This dissertation involves seven main aspects of DMS, in terms of the requirementanalysis, the preliminary design, the hardware and software, database design, detaildesign, interface and the functions, and the implementation methods. DMS access thedata graphic through the browser-based user interface. This system is utilized by theinternal relating people of the Power Supply Bureaus, such as the managers, operatorsand the system administrators. The function of query offered by the system canmaximize working efficiency. Additionally, this system affords a universal enquiriesentrance of the distribution network, cable, device and project graphics to XiaoshanPower Supply Bureau and all the units subordinate to it. Meanwhile, this system isbased on the progressive load-balancing mechanism, which can ensure the stability ofperformance under the situation of multi-user concurrent visit. Finally, this dissertation would demonstrate the relevant basic concepts, principles, methodologies of workflowsand a number of applied technologies.The implementation of this system has fundamental significance on improving themanagement quality, the production efficiency, the reliability of power supply and thecustomer service system. In order to reinforce the impression of the system duringreading, combination of image and text is adopted in this dissertation. The matchinginterface if this system is available for reference.
