The Wireless Sensor Network, which is based on the wireless communicaion hasdeveloped rapidly in the21st century. Its applications have extended to manyareas,such as the earth scicence,environmental monitoring,etc. In the environment ofCylinder pneumatic platform, there are many cylinders typically. When moreinformation are needed (position, velocity, pressure, etc) in the traditional wiredway,many unfavorable factors have been exposed. For example, it can bei easilyleaded to a wiring confusion.According to the situation mentioned above,study using the wireless instead ofwired to transfer cylinder information under the conditions of the stability work. In thisway it can improve reliability and practicality. This research can extend the range ofWSN applications. The content of this article include the choice of wirelesscommunication protocols, the design of the system, hardware testing platform and thedevelopment of the software systems.This article is based on the ZigBee wireless communication technology agreementand the TI chip CC2430. The purpose is to achieve the connection of sensor with thewireless communication module and the connection of terminal device with centerequipment. In this process, it has achieved a wireless cylinder acquisition system and itcan transmit data effectively and reliably with the wireless modules. It also provides abasis for the future research.The introduction of ZigBee technology in the cylinder pneumatic system providesan effective solution in such special industrial environments. Not only can the systemmonitor the location information, but also can monitor speed, switches, pressure andother system parameters information. The system has proven its applicability andreliability. The technology which has a good prospect can promote the application toother occasions.
