With the development of society, the demand for communication is more and more. Mobile communication has been on incessant development, from the first generation mobile communication system represented by "advance mobile phone system" of the joint development of American AT&T and Motorola company in1980s to the second generation of mobile communication system represented by GSM, and then to today’s third generation mobile communication system. The appearance of the fourth generation wireless communication technology represented by TD-LTE has poured new vitality into the development of mobile communication, and it will bring new revolution in mobile field. Wireless transceiver machine, as an important part of mobile communication, plays a vital role in the quality of the communication. The special role of the RF front-end in wireless communication transceiver machine has made it become difficulty and emphases in wireless communication field home and abroad.This dissertation briefly introduces the design principle of radio frequency receiver, designs and realizes the TD-LTE RF base station receiver according to index requirements of the3GPP TS36.133. The bandwidth is20MHz, supporting LTE system single carrier receiving from2.58GHz to2.6GHz.In the design of this dissertation, the main factor influencing the performance of receivers has been analyzed. Based on this, appropriate module has also been chosen to make it meet the requirements of the overall link. Low Noise Amplifier, RF Amplifier, Filter, Mixers, Intermediate Frequency Filter and Automatic Gain Control circuit have been mainly designed in this dissertation. The simulation designs of each module have been implemented by use of the ADS simulation software. After testing and verification, the expectd results were got,the receiver can meet the design requirements.
