The growing demand for bandwidth, while the impact of the development ofwireless communication systems, one of the most important factor is the spectrumwhich is non-renewable resources. The contradiction between the rapid increase ofdata traffic and coverage requirements and available to the user limited spectrumresources have become increasingly prominent. It is the time to develop newcommunication technologies to improve spectrum efficiency, TDD Time DivisionDuplex technology came into being, TDD technology is one of the key technologiesto improve spectrum utilization. TDD technology is large-scale applicated in wirelessbroadband communications systems such as TD–SCDMA, WiMAX, and McWiLL,also it will be play a more important role in future mobile communication systems.The largest difference is physical layer between communication systems basedon TDD time division duplex technology from based on traditional FDD frequencydivision duplex technology, physical layer includes baseband and RF modules. In theTDD microwave communication system, physical layer technology is the main workof this article. In this paper, the key technologies is fast switching synchronization andTDD physical layer frame structure.First, this paper analysises the technical indicators of the TDD system, andidentifies the key technologies for TDD systems. Then drawn through the link budgetof the various modules of the TDD system indicators, and as the basis of the design ofsystem solutions. In this paper, we discuss the impact of different design on theperformance of the TDD communication system, and design a overall program tosatisfy the system of indicators. Based on MATLAB/SIMULINK platform, we take alink-level simulation and feasibility analysis. Finally, brief testing,validation andanalysis for system design are made through a hardware verification platform basedon FPGA+DSP core.
