Intelligent pneumatic marking system is a software control system used in marking machines. This high-tech equipment is widely used in machinery manufacturing industry to mark the data (numbers, characters, graphics, etc.). Research and development of intelligent pneumatic marking system, especially an intelligent software control system, is not only of theoretical significance, but has a broad market prospect.Based on the needs for this system in Tianjin branch of Great Wall Automobile Company, this paper introduces the design and implementation of the intelligent software control systems. Specifically, this paper includes the following aspects:1. It compares and studies the technology used by the software control system of the marking machines. Based on an in-depth study of a variety of marking systems, this paper creates an intelligent software system which is computer-controlled through man-machine dialogue and which can tag the data, the graphics settings to adapt to the diversity of the marking data. It realizes the statistics and query function; marking data can be saved directly in the users’tables, and real-time inquires can be made. It achieves connection with a variety of network platforms through the network interface, and data sharing is thus possible.2. It analyzes and designs the entire software system by using software engineering principles. It completes UML modeling and analyses the specific use case; it builds a structure graph model for the design phase which embodies the logical structure, and designs the database structure.3. It Introduces the functional design of the marking machine software control system, as well as the source code of some functions. The software control system employs Borland C++Builder6.0from the Windows family of operating systems as a development tool.The subject is proposed from the concrete realities of marking effect, speed, etc. It can improve the clarity of the mark, enhance its beauty, and make fast printing; it is able to mark the Chinese character fonts, graphics, and the speed is variable; it can enable the manufacturing industry to replace artificial marking methods of software control with automation; it can improve production, management quality and level, prevent counterfeiting, and maintain corporate image.This research lays the foundation for further development of efficient, convenient new generation of intelligent pneumatic marking machine, and it has practical value and application prospect.
