In order to realize intelligent information management, automation and interactivesmart grid, smart meters as the nerve endings, first of all need robots on smart metersseries operation. After analysis, the robot to accurately finish capture meter, meter isreliably inserted into the terminal, s programming cover screw, press theprogramming button and a series of actions, the need to provide is the operation objectposition information. In spite of the robot system which operated object is the basicposition of the robot have been built in the database, but the position information isnot accurate, must be in the field operation to obtain more precise values for theoperation of the robot to fine-tune, improve the reliability of; Based on the basicprinciple of digital image processing and the method research, choose three kinds oftreatment, respectively, get smart meter screw positioning, so that the robot can beachieved by accurate position information of successful completion of smart meters inthe series of operations, to achieve intelligent meter automatic calibration function.The specific application based on color, texture feature, and two kinds ofcharacteristics of the combined respectively on smart meters screws for recognitionand location. Based on color information analysis processing, selection of tone imageprocessing, to achieve intelligent’ NJ segmentation and positioning, and thenaccording to the geometric relations get screw region image, finally screw regionimage through tone and color chart combination method, using digital image contourextraction technology and statistical method to achieve the brightest areas accurateidentification and positioning screw. In the face of the smart meter automaticcalibration system of screws in the recognition problem, put forward a kind of texturefeatures based on the screw recognition algorithm. The practical application show that,the algorithm for complicated industrial environment to collect the smart meter imageon the screw has the advantages of reliable recognition ability and accuratepositioning, and the instrument in the identification field, with a strongforward-looking, creative. Finally the two screws recognition technology together, build a comprehensive screw recognition algorithm, the actual test results show thatthe algorithm compared with the preceding two the proposed algorithm can greatlyimprove the processing speed of screw recognition, and has popularization andapplication value.Detection problem in this paper, the construction of smart grid smart meters testautomation disposal system, using digital image processing technology, design andimplement online visual identity and positioning screws on the smart meters. Theresearch results obtained on the automated verification system provides a reliableposition feedback information, which provides a strong supporting role for therealization of smart grid information technology, automation and interactive.
