Study On Online Detection System Of Screw Pitch

The paper discussed a photoelectric vision detecting system ,which is used to measure the thread pitch of screw on-line. It is consist of light source,standard ruler,CCD camera ,figure graber board, monitor communication/input and output unit.The image of screw is captured by the CCD camera,To eliminate noise and filtering with the image processing technology,And SUSAN operator is used to draw the outline edge of screw and mathematical morphology is used to do exquisite processing , image array form is also applied in subpixel edge location to get the actual parameter, we could judge the qualification by compare the value with the theoretical result.
