Digital Image Processing is one of hot reach fields in recent years. Its development and wide application enhance the level of automation. Firstly, this paper introduces main methods and contents of Digital Image Processing. Secondly it introduces the concept of moment invariants and its conciseness and diversity, on which the algorithms of developing the application software for processing and identification of digital image are made certain. Based on it, the work of designing the program of flow chart and compiling the program is continued. The program can implement basal operation of Digital Image Processing. At' the same time, it can identify the number of zero to nine. By testing, it can be got the merit and detect of image point operation, image enhancement and edge detection. So as to people can use it at studying and applying henceforth. Identification part of the program is to identify the number of zero to nine. The result of the program validates moment invariants' merit that briefness, fast and nicety. So it can be validated that the algorithms are correct and effective. The application of the technology of moment invariants to identification is the innovation of this paper, which has certain theoretical and practical value.
