As the standard gain horn antenna, a pyramidal horn antenna is often used as gainreference during measuring the antenna, and it is the calibration precision of a pyramidal hornnear-field gain that decides the accuracy of a series of related parameter of the near-field gain.At present, it is still hard to ensure the accurate calibration of the pyramidal horn near-fieldgain in domestic, while, the price of a frequency calibration data of a horn antenna, importedfrom abroad with calibration datas, is even higher than the price of the antenna itself, so thedomestic gain value of the pyramidal cone horn antenna is often theoretical. Owning to theantenna materials, processing technology and other reasons, it disaccords between the actualvalue and the theoretical one, which requests the reasonable error analysis and appropriatemethods to correct in practical use.Firstly, with the known size of a pyramidal horn antenna, the theoretical value of thenear-field gain has been calculated through the near-field theory equation in this article. Andthen a corresponding simulation was performed by using the FEKO, a electromagneticsimulation software to simulate the augment of the near field antenna. And in a microwaveanechoic chamber environment, we obtained experimental data using standard field probesystem by China Institute of metrology calibration.In the end, The experimental values arecompared with the theoretical values, to find their consistency and do the uncertainty analysis.By considering the uncertainty factors, we can validate the reliability of the pyramidal hornantenna near-field augment theoretical values to apply to the electromagnetic compatibilitytest accurately.Specifically, this thesis main research work are as follows:1. The caliber face antennatheory research;2. The near field measurement technology and correct the error analysis ofthe measuring technology research and gain;3. Cone horn antenna near field gain thetheoretical calculation and simulation through FEKO and measurement experiment research;4. The uncertainty of measurement results is analyzed.
