The research on antenna mutual coupling has been one of important problems in the area of Electromagnetic Compatibility, especially about the problem of continuous wave radar's T/R antenna's isolated degree. The problem is one of the difficult problem in the field of the continuous wave radar. The thesis focuses on the research on the mutual coupling between independent pyramidal horn antennas. Then we can study on the problem of continuous wave radar's T/R antenna's isolated degree. The main contribution of this paper is as following:1. commentary of antenna mutual coupling:Based on the style and parameter of antenna, we analyzed the definition of antenna mutual coupling, inferred expression of random antenna mutual coupling and analyzed the application of the expression.2. calculation of antenna's near-field: The paper firstly discusses some theories about the characteristic of antenna's near-field. By using these theories, we can compute, measure and emulate trumpet antenna radiation pattern. Secondly, we used Aperture Integration to compute, measure and emulate pyramidal horn antenna's near-field. So we can intuitionistic know the characteristic of antenna's near-field.3. calculation and study of antenna mutual coupling : Firstly, based on the Lorentz reciprocity theorem and Plane Wave Spect rum(PWS), we derives the expression of the isolated degree between T/R antennas, compute antenna radiation pattern in the near-field. We can know that antenna mutual coupling is related with the distance between antennas and polarization of two antennas . Finally, based on the Geometrical Theory of Diffraction, we analyzed the influence of the isolation board to antenna mutual coupling. The isolation board between two antennas can minish antenna mutual coupling. Antenna mutual coupling regular changes along with the top edge of isolation board hyper-antennas. This conclusion have some reference value to the practice application of the continuous wave radar.
