Our country see the educational information as an important part,educational information is a way for developing the education.Modern technology of education based on network developed rapidly in our country since the beginning of this century.Government paid attention to the development of modern educational technology and application,to speed up the pace of educational information construction.Now the computer network or satellite IP data broadcast has covered all kinds of schools.Universities continuously introduce a large number of foreign and domestic outstanding teaching resources.The primary and secondary schools got a lot of good, high quality teaching resources through the computer network or satellite IP data broadcast.And with the increasing of educational resources, the national standards of education resources based on XML said to be bottleneck in retrieving due to a lack of effective management systems and tools, restricted resources efficiency.In this article,we access to a dedicated,efficient,high-performanced search technology and tools,that is the design and implementation of retrieval system of educational resources based on XML by analysising the XML features of the educational resources and information retrieval theory and technology.Taking the language characteristics of the area into account,the retrieval of educational resources include English,Mongolian and Chinese in the design process.Establishing the index against XML structure of the educational resources,information retrieval based on language model for the retrieval process involved in the plain text content-based,and three sets of search tools designed for the form of expression of the three languages.The main research includes the efficient and flexible index structure,the structure and content-based retrieval model,the graphical query and educational resources retrieval system prototype.Provide a technical basis for the construction and improvement of educational resource library and educational resources application systems and is of great significance in promoting the development process of education information and distance education.
