With the rapid development of computer technology,not only changes people’s life and work style,but also immensely influences the study style of human.Accordingly, the generation and development of virtual reality technology andvisualization technology provide us many new ways for solving problems. Thevisualization of Wind power station is the outcome of the combination of virtualreality technology and visualization techniques, it vividly displays the landscape ofWind power station and realizes real-time walkthrough in virtual Wind power stationenvironment for users, besides, it helps users to understand the real-time display ofwind power unit of each system and dynamics of the motion simulation data,moreover, users can also be offered parameter settings, sports attribute and other moredetailed information description of key parts such as impeller system.In order to make the three-dimension visualization system based on virtualreality technology more scientific, usability and practical, this paper,firstly makes adeep analysis and research on the classification of virtual reality technology features,the research and application situation in domestic and foreign countries. On this basis,elaborates the model technology of virtual view, virtual walkthroughs technology aswell as the related concepts and theoretical analysis of visualization technology indetail; summers up the development process and frame structure of three-dimensionvirtual wind field environment system; then, take the Wind power generator as theresearch object, put forward the design proposal based on the wind generatorthree-dimension visualization simulation design scheme of the system.Secondly, according to the design scheme, modeling by using thethree-dimension CAD software UG and3dsMax, uses Cyber Maker and VR-Platformas a virtual reality technology development Platform, then realizes the scene roamingmodule of wind power based on Cyber Maker and real-time interactive module ofgenerator operation station based on VR-Platform. Thirdly, VR technology can generate more authentic simulation environment bycomputer, with the aid of three-dimension visualization technology, put virtual reality(VR) technology in the use of dynamics analysis, could simulate the stress and strainchange of key parts of large wind generators vividly; broke through the traditionaltwo-dimension display dynamics analysis results of the design mode and method;increased the intellectual and authenticity of product model and data, obtained higherlevels of details; users can not only feel the research object in sight, but also passthrough the internal of the study object, thus established a intuitional visualizationanalysis environment of space data.Finally, the paper analyzes the shortage during the study, and puts forwardsuggestions for the future research.
