The Key Technology And Demonstration Application Of3D Virtual Simulation

The virtual reality technology has been paid a close attention in computer realmrecently years. To build a harmonious man-machine interaction is the developinggoals in information age and the VR is the point to realize this goal. The3D virtualsimulation, which is the basement of the VR, is paid extensively attention and iswidely use in aerospace, military command, urban planning, architectural design andaccident emergency and so on. The VR will promote the development of the relatedtechnology.This paper starts from the concept of the VR, introduces the characteristics of theVR and the classification of the VR system, describes the current research situation ofthe VR technology home and aboard, the application of the3D virtual simulation andthe key technologies on the3D modeling,3D scene optimizing and3D simulationdriving, analyses the characteristics and application range of different technologiesand methods, and finally lists3demonstrate applications of different kinds which areHebi digital city aided planning system of digital city class, Hongzhou kiln3Dinternet museum of digital exhibition hall class and deep excavation accidentemergency exercise system of process practice class.Through the discussion of the design, techcological realization and theapplication significance of the three demonstration application systems, this paperconcludes the main performance contents, intergrate information and interact patterns.There are the following characteristics:(1)The characteristics of the digital city class are: showing the outdoor scenessuch as city terrain, building, road, bridge, greenery landscape and so on; integratingthe plot and building attribute information; realizing the3D roam guide, spatialmeasurement, sunlight analysis, adjust contrast of the planning and building programand so on to achieve the aim of aids the city planning and design.(2)The characteristics of the digital exhibition hall are: exhibiting the culturalrelics of the models and the exhibition venue of in and out door; integrating showingthe introduce information of the cultural relics; realizing the interactive mode such asthe VR roam, information interaction, and web scan which are extending the show ofthe traditional exhibition hall in time and space. (3)The characteristics of the process practice class are: showing the dynamicprocedure and change of the scene and character role; integrating the interactivemodes such as view and emulate the drill, participate in drill and so on.The research results show:3D VR simulate has been widely used in VR field, it’snecessary to take the different elements into different applications and integrate thecorresponding interactive mode with different content.
