With the development of the wireless sensor technology, and its application expanding, this provides a feasible scheme for collection, monitoring of physical information in some harsh situation. At present, we still use artificial inspection way to monitor oil and gas pipeline in our country, such method is low efficiency and waste a lot of manpower and time. So designing a communication node using wireless sensor technology for all-weather, automatic acquisition of pipeline information is of great importance for monitoring pipe running status to ensure the smooth delivery of oil and gas pipeline.According to particular applications for the wild pipes, we analysis the special points of sensing network:the pipeline length to be monitored is tens of kilometers or even further, this requires the distance between node distribution is larger. The communication distance between nodes is more than1km. The areas monitored are generally unattended site, or even desert and gobi. In such case, cable wiring and battery maintenance are carried out inconveniently. Using natural resources to realize the node’s energy supply should be considered. For the oil and gas pipeline layouted straighly, the topology of the network is seen as the main line.Based on the built-in wireless transceiver functions of CC1110single-chip microcomputer as the processing unit, we design RF amplifier circuit to improve power amplifier to meet the requirements of long distance communication.we take solar energy as energy source, by using the method of constant pressure of MPPT algorithm to improve the efficiency of energy collection.By using EDA software to complete RF circuit simulation, transmission line impedance calculation, circuit schematic design, and PCB drawing, we design a communication node adapted to the outdoor environment. The maximum power output of nodes can be up to33dBm, communication distance between nodes can be up to2km. With the test of wireless sensor netwok simulated by six nodes, network packet loss rate is0.2%. The result shows good performance of hardware node.Finally, according to the experience in design and debugging process, summarize the work, and puts forward some Suggestions and solutions to the node work effectively for a long time.
