Design And Implementation Of The Online Learning System For Civil Servants

Civil servants of governments often need to participate in many civil service courses and business trainings.But holding a learning activity like this is very expensive,and this kind of training pattern is largely restricted by time and space.All those problems can be solved by building an online learning system by using information technology.In this article,we regard Dalian X bureau as our application background,and then designed and implemented the online learning system for civil servants using popular open-source J2EE frameworks:Struts,Spring and Hibernate.Major functions of the online learning system for civil servants are course selecting,online examination,study using multimedia,online forum and news deploy system.In this article,we first introduced the background of this project,analysed the demands of the project,and then introduced database design of the whole system.Next,we introduced directory hierarchy of the whole project,and then introduced application of Struts internationalization and log function in this project.Next,we divide code design and implementation of this project into three layers:database access layer,business logic code layer and Action layer,then introduce and analyse the three layers in detail.Besides,we also analysed main functions of this system like online test timer,synchronized play of multimedia and exam marking function.Finally,we displayed the user interface of the system by dividing the system into two parts:backstage content management system,front online learning center.
