A Framework for Measuring the Impact of Supplementary Learning Content in Online Learning Management Systems

Abstract/Summary:
Student performance in Computer Science courses has been steadily declining in recent years. In an effort to reverse the downward trend, a decision was made to leverage an online Learning Management System (LMS) to provide students with content to reinforce learning. Motivated by the results of similar studies, a study was conducted to measure how online tutorials impacted student learning. This paper discusses the technology used to conduct the study and presents an analysis of the results of the study.
