Migratory population management information system (MPMIS) is an effective means of managing basic information and dynamic information on migratory population and improving the service level of migratory population management by use of modern software technology,database technology and network technology.Based on the speciality of MPMIS in Sichuan province,this thesis developed migratory population information management system of Sichuan province by object-oriented approach,and descriped requirements,analysis,design,implementation and testing of five main ways,and designed a complete solution.MPMIS is data-driven system,this thesis focuses on the business module,data access module and database design.In the business module design,the thesis combined with the migratory population speciality,used iterative development approach,continued to refine each business process,and used design patterns to make the system flexible and easy to develop and extend,achieved inflow(outflow) populatin management,investigation management,monitor and analysis business process.In database design,the thesis applied data-fragmentation design idea,storaged the migratory population information after mixed slice by domicile and information type,and designed stored procedure to package, provided data access interface to application.So that the data structure and data operation process were hided and the data structure was separated from business module,it enhanced the ease of development and scalability of the system.Finally,the thesis achieved the functional modules on ASP.NET+SQL Server2005platform and maked functional testing and performance testing,also compared the performance of the system before data fragmentation and after.
