This system let viewers visit and feel the campus at home, then play an important role in the promotion of school, it is very significant to the related work of school.This paper first discusses the characteristics of building model construction method, and advantages and disadvantages in different models to choose suitable construction methods. Use of3D animation software3D MAX realized the Chengdu Vocational and Technical college digital modeling. Also introduces the common model optimization technique, and gives these techniques in this project model used in the case built.secondly, studied the optimization method, mass scenes are introduced and very drain on our resources optimization technologies greening and lighting is presented to the operating realize. Using billboards technology prevents the fine modeling, thus trees greatly saves memory resources. While baking technology will light onto the light on model of information into a map, making the scene doesn’t need loading light data, and save the system resources. Large-scale scene that has not been camera dividing the scene doesn’t see the loading, this method to make big pieces for the final scene decrescent scene form Chengdu Vocational and Technical college interactive virtual roaming system provides the powerful support.Finally, design realized based on Virtools virtual campus interactive roaming system.
