Virtual Tour is getting more and more attention with the development of tourism. Dragomans, tourists, residents and other living being are important factors of tour activity. Especially, dragoman is key factor in tour activity. But most existing virtual tour systems contain only scenery, architecture and other visual information, so it can make virtual tour systems more interesting and realistic by adding virtual dragoman then, and further it can drive the development of virtual tour technology.Virtual Dragoman is a particular case of Virtual Human. The studies of virtual human consist of geometric modeling, motion control, and behavior modeling. Geometric modeling and motion control have been relatively mature, but research about behavior model is still in its infancy, which is mainly because human behavior is very complex. The dissertation studies behavior for virtual dragoman. The main contents are as follows:(1) Set up virtual dragoman's typical behavior knowledge by analyzing the characteristics of the dragoman , including basic behavior knowledge base and representative behavior regulations, which will be basis for behavior decision making of the Virtual Dragoman.(2) Research on perceptual modeling and path planning of Virtual Dragoman. Perceptual modeling is fulfilled by district triggering and database querying. The method of Global path programming is proposed based on a basic scene navigation map; the local path will be Real-Time adjusted in accordance with different situations perceived.(3) Research on decision making reasoning of Virtual Dragoman. Decision-making reasoning mechanism is set up based on typical behavior rules of virtual dragoman with the Goal-Stack assistant. At the same time, hierarchical behavior actions are set up to enhance reality of the Dragoman's behavior.(4) Set up a Intelligent Virtual Dragoman based on the behavior model proposed by the dissertation, which has been applied in "Real-Time Roaming System of Ancient San He Town".
