Nowadays, high-speed electric power locomotive have taken the predominant place in the giant development of high-speed electrization railway. Meanwhile, the research domain of pantograph-catenary system, which power up trains, has been one direction with great importance. There are quite a lot efficient efforts have been made by scholars in and out of China in this field, by utilizing these efforts, there are several control theories that designed a few active-control and semi-active-control pantograph, having positive effects on improving pantograph-catenary relationship.In this paper, we researched and designed a active-control pantograph system based on C8051F060MCU, PID control theory train-speed based controlling conditions, computer technologies and digital electronic technology. This thesis briefly introduced researches functional modules based on actual application demands of the active-control system and designed software&hardware of the system according function analysis.On one hand, we made use of C8051F060as MCU, in which integrated ADC, DAC and serial interface, with peripheral devices such as operational amplifier, voltage conversion IC and optocoupler, we realized functions like gas pressure control, communication, state detection&control function in this active-control system. Hence, we combined grating sensors and CPLD technology together to implementing redundant speed data acquisition block, which increased system’s universality.On the other hand, we completed human-computer interface on the master computer by applying delphi5. Slave-computer software was inspired by embedded programming ideas,which was used to implement the coordination of system hardware and its related functions, finished programming using language C.Furthermore, according to the basic analysis carried out on the PID control theo ry, we designed the corresponding software.In the last part, we debugged and commissioned every single function blocks within the system in the laboratory and on actual railways, and we analyzed data acquited.
