With the high-frequency development of the power electronic devices and switching power supply, the high-voltage power supply for high-frequency electron beam welding equipment has gradually replaced that for medium frequency electron beam welding equipment of medium frequency generator with step-up transformer in the traditional application which has also brought some difficulties in the design of transformers.The selection the high-voltage power supply for high-frequency electron beam welding equipment main circuit topology is a prerequisite for realization of the power function. Therefore, in this paper, the advantages and the disadvantages of multi-pulse rectification and voltage-doubling rectification was detailed analyzed and compared, the diversified transformer model and double voltage rectifier were proposed according to the characteristics of voltage doubler rectifier which can help to reduce the transformer ratio, and this could also help to reduce the distribution parameters of the transformer.The merits of high frequency high voltage transformer are the basis to determine the stability of high voltage power supply performance. Therefore, in this paper, the distribution parameters, insulation levels, winding coil, the core material and other related factors involved in high frequency high voltage transformer design were combined to give a detailed statement of the key point in the process of designing high frequency high voltage transformer. The choice of core material and size related to the power output of the transformer, the influence of distribution transformer parameters on the power system stability, these factors were discussed in detail.The design principle and method of the main transformers, filament transformers, bias transformer were detailed described. The design steps of three set of transformers were also given including the main circuit and the sampling circuit needed.The design of internal structure of the high-pressure tank was given with considering the insulation requirements, electromagnetic interference and other factors. Finally, a high-pressure tank experiment on the basis of the above trial was earned with results which show that the high-pressure tank basically meet the needs of electron beam welding inverter performance indicators and the actual electron beam welding needs.
