In recent years, with the rapid development of the mobile Internet industry, more and more operating systems are available for people to choose, but the great success which android operating system gained in the mobile phone market undoubtedly makes its leading role among all the other operating systems. android not only brought great business opportunities for other mobile terminal equipment, but also provided a better software platform for some applications manufacturers to provide people with more high-qualified applications. In modern life, basic functions like just the use of mobile terminal to make phone calls, or to send text messages, have been far from meeting the needs of the people to communicate. People want to have voice calls and video data transmission at the same time. And the rapid development of communication network in recent years makes it possible for the mobile terminal to access network at any time, and for people to send all kinds of information on the Internet through the mobile terminal at any time anywhere. Therefore, video data carry out complex decoding algorithm through the network transmission, and data processing of mobile terminal which is increasingly powerful to realize network video transmission.This thesis realizes the key H.264codec on the basis of android operating system, and through the Video Processing Unit i.MX51VPU (Video Processing Unit) produced by Freescale Chip Company. The use of H.264codec technology can transmit video data under low bit rate environment, which greatly satisfy the need of Video transmission. Also, a standard SIP server was made in the virtual machine through the setting of open source server SER (SIP Express Router), which is responsible for SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) communication, helping to transmit RTP video packet between terminals. Through the research of specific video transmission agreement, we can observe the process of connection step by step, thus to analyze the entire transmission process.At last the paper use software to intercept sending bags and receiving bags from terminal in TCP and UDP. And analyzing network transmission performance in different communication environment respectively.
