Recent years, the transfer speed of the network has been improved. With the rapid development of 3G and 4G mobile network, the smart mobile devices has occupied the market and change our daily life. The traditional method such as text and voice can not meet our requirements espcially in the time of seeking personalized service and a large amount of information. But the video dialogue of the service can meet this requirement. According to the investigation about the current network bandwidth and intelligent mobile terminal’s situation, it is entirely feasible that using Android intelligent terminal for video customer service, especially most of the intelligent devices market has been occupied by the device based on Android operating system. In this paper, considering of the current status of the industry and technical characteristica video transmission system based on Android which is used to video customer service field has been designed after analyzed the functions of customer service system and the current experimental environment.To meet the requirement of the system, a practical and convenient used real-time video customer service system has been designed by cosidering the advantages of Android operating system and open-source project of FFmpeg. The system adopts the combination of software and hardware development methods. The system uses the Tiny6410 and the Java code is written by the software part use the Eclipes, Android SDK and other auxiliary development tools. The system is designed by C/S mode, the server program is written in Java, and the client program is written in Java uses the Android SDK and related library files, transplanting FFmpeg open-source project to Android system to achieve video codec. This system can implement text communication, voice communication, real-time video commication, information stored and service to evaluate. The system is designed to provide a variety of services and the customers with the service of humanity.In this paper, the design process of the system is described in detail. First, this paper put forward the solution by analyzing the research content, background, the trend of development. Second, this paper exhibited the analysis to the Android system and the FFmpeg open source project used in the system design pricess. According to the function, the system including both the software and hardware to the server and client has been designed and tested. At last, the design of this system is analyzed and summarized.In conclusion, by testing and optimizing, the design of real-time video transmission system based on Android has realized all functions. The system provides a solution and innvation for the way of customer service.
