China is a relative shortage of natural resources in developing countries, which has large population.The Communist Party of China Central Committee and State Council have been building a resource-conserving, environment-friendly society as an important policy. In response to the call of the country building a conservation-oriented society, Ministry of the National Housing and Urban-Rural Construction, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance jointly formulate indicator system and evaluation methods of conservation-oriented campus, and formulate construction technical guidelines of energy efficiency supervision system.Which is to promote the concept of conservation-oriented campus construction to tertiary institutions. School as a higher talent training base, with the research ability of teachers, should make oneself an example to assume the publicity and promotion of philosophy, which is the construction of a conservation-oriented society.First of all, based on the study of the domestic and foreign conservation-oriented campus construction,the article carried out relevant research about construction of energy management platform in Taiyuan University of Technology,which combined with the status of energy management of Taiyuan University of Technology, It mainly include to formulate the network architecture of energy management platform in Taiyuan University of Technology and energy management platform data center, and to deploy the Hardware and software resources for energy management platform data center,and to determine the network mode,which is monitoring data collection terminal of energy management platform in Taiyuan University of Technology, and to identified the information security measures about energy management platform in Taiyuan University of Technology, and so on. After that, this paper presents a solution of Suitable for energy management platform in Taiyuan University of TechnologySecondly, as the data gateway undertakes the important data information acquisition and data format conversion work, this paper specific in-depth studies the data gateway that how to come true. It consists of a detailed analysis of smart meter works, as well as the communication protocol. It uses Microsoft Visual Studio2008as development environment, C++as development language,and simulation data gateway data collection features.Then,the energy consumption data will be unified and standardized coding transmission to the data center, so smart meters will be able to seamlessly access to energy management platform of Taiyuan University of Technology. This research closely according to the actual needs of the Taiyuan University of Technology energy management develop a solution for the university. The solution provides some reference for the saving building on campus, so that school continues to deepen and improve the saving campus building.
